Do you find it frustrating to tag every single one of your friends on Facebook while uploading their photos? Don’t you wish it was like Picasa where the facial recognition software automatically recognizes most of the faces in the photo? Well Facebook is steadily activating this update for everyone. After uploading all the photos Facebook will automatically group all the photos of the same person together and ask you to confirm. The screenshot below should simplify things. However if you wish that your photos are not automatically suggested/ tagged, you can always disable it in your privacy settings. Your friends however will still be able to tag you manually. It will only check up similar photos for the facial recognition, so you can still tag your friends [manually, of course] on your Birthday Cake. Check out the full details here. In order to change these settings, click on “Account” on the top right of your home screen, and select “Privacy Settings”. Then click “Customize settings” on the page that opens up. There under “Things others share”, you will find the setting you are looking for.
