A fast running computer is welcomed by everyone. By the time passes on, the resources of the computers are utilized maximum but the performance comes down to minimum. The scenario is nothing but just frustration. No one knows what to do else than installing fresh windows. Solutions are there guys. You can apply some windows tweaks and tips that would go a long way in giving you a fresh and smooth experience.

Something about the Windows Registry:

All the data and the history of the computer are saved by the windows in the registry. You can easily make your computer work smooth if you are a bit expert with editing the registry. You can access the registry editor by typing the “REGEDIT” in the Run Dialogue box. It requires you to modify some values and the result would be awesome.

Deletion of Files Permanently:

When you delete something from your computer, it goes to the Recycle Bin that keeps piling up the deleted files. You can delete the files permanently by pressing the SHIFT and DEL keys at the same time. You would be asked whether to delete the file permanently or not. This would save your drive space thus accommodating more files to work smoothly.

Prioritizing the Important Programs:

If you run a specific program regularly and you want that to run faster and smooth, you can set the priority for that program. This can easily be done by opening the task manager by pressing ALT, CTRL and DEL keys at the same time. In the task manager, go to the processes tab and right-click the program. You would come to see the option “set priority”, just do it.

Uninstalling the Unwanted Programs:

It is another option available with you to uninstall those programs that either you do not use or are useless. This would let your windows enjoy maximum resources and the speed would be faster. Such programs can cause the memory to be overloaded with many programs at the startup and your computer gets slower eventually. Moreover, you can also uninstall or remove those windows components and programs that are not necessary.
