How to make Money with your Site/Blog

#1. Adsense – This one is overlooked by a lot my network marketers, or even personal bloggers. Since a lot of people are concerned that using Adsense can ruin the look of their site, they don’t even explore the option. If you’re not familiar with Adsense, it’s the little ad that comes up at the top of each of my posts. When someone clicks on one of those ads, I earn a little bit of money. Count me among the “Adsense-will-ruin-the-look-of-your-site” people until very recently, until I realized a few things. One, tons and tons of sites on the net have Adsense, and I don’t even hardly notice it anymore when I see some. I’ve never been turned off of a site because of Adsense. Secondly, it’s a way to earn a 100% passive income. You don’t have to touch it or manage it, but just collect a check. That’s important for network marketers looking for up-front money. Plus, if you’re using the Flexibility 3 theme with WordPress, Adsense takes less than 3 minutes to place. First, go to http://Google.com/Adsense and create an account. Then, go to Flexibility Theme Options, click on Adsense, and tell it where you want the code to show up. Super easy!
#2. Opt-In List - Most network marketers already know the importance of using an opt-in form to build a list, but many have problems with creating the right “bait” to get people to opt-in. However, a lesser-known secret is that the “bait” can simply be curiosity! For example, if after they opt-in they are taken to a video sales letter, talk about how they get a free video, and list the benefits they can receive from the video. It’s simple! Or, focus on how they can join your newsletter, and give a few bullets about things they’ll learn from you. Then, of course, you have a list that you can market to for the foreseeable future.
#3. Affiliate Links – Now, know that I’m against selling every new product that launches daily just to make some bucks from my list. That way, you wear out your list and they’ll stop paying attention to you. In order to do this right, make a tab on your blog that says something like “Tools I Use”. Then, you talk about the essential tools you use and a link to buy it from you. Some tools to promote can be autoresponders, tracking software, article submission software, or any other tools that you use regularly to build your business. Then, you can make money on autopilot when someone visits that page on your blog. Also, you can direct prospects to that page when it becomes clear that they need some of those products after you’ve chatted with them. These are some of the simplest ways to make money with your blog, yet they can be very effective. And since all of them can be completely passive, you can focus your time on other activities, such as simply generating more traffic to your blog...
